The Lexus RC F debuts the world-first application of a Torque-Vectoring Differential…OK, we’ll stop there. What you really need to know about RC F is that it’s got a 5.0-litre, 32-valve naturally aspirated V8 powerhouse under the bonnet, that puts out 471bhp, oh, and it’s rear-wheel drive so it’s partial to the odd drift too.
So, now that you know that, we’ll let you get all revved-up over this sublime video from Lexus Europe, which shows the astonishing car out on track. There are some informative nuggets in the film too, but we’ll forgive you for being distracted by the car’s exhaust note and missing them.
The RC F will go on sale in the UK in January, priced at £59,995. There will also be an RC F Carbon that benefits from additional performance features in the form of a torque-vectoring differential and a CFRP (carbon fibre-reinforced plastic) roof, bonnet and rear spoiler. It will cost £67,995.
