Lexus will present a dynamic and immersive vision of an electrified future at Milan Design Week 2020. The Senses Electrified installation is inspired by the Lexus Electrified alternative fuel strategy and our LF-30 Electrified concept car, and imagines an environment where transportation engages and stimulates the senses.
Senses Electrified was created for Lexus by London-based spatial laboratory Loop.pH. The experience will run from 21-26 April at Superstudio Più (Art Point) in the Tortona district, at the heart of Milan Design Week.
Loop.pH founder and director Mathias Gmachl (pictured) said: “We really enjoy working with Lexus because it is both visionary and human-centred. Lexus Electrified aims to be an extension of your senses. The installation leads you on a journey through a series of immersive environments that reveal the perception-amplifying possibilities of electrification.”
The six finalists of the 2020 Lexus Design Award will also exhibit their works in an interactive display at Milan Design Week. On press day (20 April), the Grand Prix winner will be selected by an international jury of renowned design leaders.
