The Lexus F brand has become synonymous with high-performance engineering. Each successive model – from the Lexus IS F saloon and LFA supercar to the current RC F coupe – has been as exhilarating to use on track as it has on public roads.
The new Lexus GS F does not deviate from this clear philosophy. From its debut imagery on track to its recent exhibition drive up the famous Goodwood hill climb, the competitive nature of our new high-performance V8 four-door saloon has been clearly announced.
While the motoring press is yet to test the Lexus GS F on public roads, the following interview with chief engineer Yukihiko Yaguchi anticipates their reactions. In it Yaguchi-san reveals three key elements of the vehicle and, interestingly, speaks about the advantages of high-performance ‘F’ engineering outside of its role on race circuits.
Having watched the video, do you also get the feeling that Yaguchi-san loves his job?
