WIN! A set of Lexus winter tyres and wheels

The nights are drawing in and temperatures are starting to drop. And as the weather starts to turn cold and wet we are offering to help keep one lucky Lexus moving by giving away a set of Lexus winter tyres and wheels worth up to £1500.

All we need from you is a picture of your Lexus battling winter.

Your photograph could show your car battling the elements, tackling the snow, or parked next to a set of spectacular outdoor Christmas decorations. For inspiration we’re kicking off with these pictures of the new Lexus IS, taken in London.

Step-by-step details on how to enter are listed at the bottom of this post.

Our prize includes tyre fitting and balancing at your local Lexus Centre. We will also keep your regular tyres safe at one of our new Tyre Hotels.

Come spring 2015, simply make contact with your Centre again, and we will swap your tyres back.

Winter weather tyres offer a significant performance advantage in cold and wet conditions, and are designed and engineered to provide better grip on the road when the temperature is below seven degrees centigrade.

This can help improve vehicle stability and braking performance – offering greater safety, and peace of mind. Winter tyres have a noticeably different tread pattern to equivalent “summer” performance tyres, and are made from a formula that includes higher levels of natural rubber and silica.

Tiny grooves called “sipes” are cut into the existing tyre tread to improve the bond with the road at lower temperatures. For more information about the full service of purchasing, fitting and tyre storage contact your local Toyota Centre who’ll be happy to help you further.

HOW TO ENTER:

There are two ways to enter our competition:
1) Upload an image to our Facebook page, using the hastag #LexusWinterTyres in your caption.

We’ll choose a winner on Friday 19th December 2014. Terms and Conditions apply.
