UPDATE (9/1/13): We’ve just published the first pictures of New IS in this post.
The first pictures of the all-new Lexus IS saloon will be revealed tomorrow, ahead of the car’s full debut at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show.
As the excitement builds, here’s a collection of what we’ve published so far on the new model.
The first pointer toward the new model, the LF-CC concept, was revealed at the Paris Motor Show back in September last year.
Take a look at our preview LF-CC images and video in this post.
We also caught up with Lexus design boss Yo Hiruta, who explained that the IS will be at the forefront of a new movement to make Lexus cars more emotionally and visually appealling as well as luxurious and efficient.
In November, the LF-LC made a second appearance, this time across the pond at the LA Auto Show, where it proved just as popular as it did in Paris.
Shortly after, we revealed that the IS prototype had been driven by a select group of international motoring journalists – read our roundup of what they said here.
That’s it for now – the Lexus IS will finally be unveiled tomorrow at 5pm UK time, so be sure to check back to see a full report then!
UPDATE: We’ll have the first images of the new Lexus IS at 5pm (GMT) today.
