Spotted: Lexus LFA for sale

Limited to just 50 units, or one tenth of the Lexus LFA‘s entire production run, the track-focused LFA Nürburgring Edition is recognised as the best of the best and has therefore become the most sought-after version of the Lexus hypercar.

Examples of this depreciation-proof modern classic rarely come up for sale. But we happen to know where not one but two examples can be purchased… if your pockets are deep enough!

The first Lexus LFA Nürburgring Edition is being sold by the Lexus Rosenheim centre in Germany. Presented in eye-catching yellow paintwork, the 2012 car (chassis number 00275) has clocked up a mere 680km and is in as-new condition.

As if that wasn’t incentive enough, during the production of this particular car the CFRP bonnet was signed by company president Akio Toyoda and then sealed for posterity beneath the final clear coat. A second signature, this time in white pen, can also be found on the underside of the bonnet.

The price for such a one-off? A cool €6,430,000, or a little over £5.05 million.

The second Lexus LFA Nürburgring Edition is a relative bargain in comparison. Offered for sale by Joe Macari Performance Cars in London, the pristine white example (chassis number 00298) seen below is listed as having had two previous owners. It also has incredibly low mileage, showing just 6,300 miles on the clock.

The cost? A relatively affordable £440,000.

  1. One of the loveliest modern cars ever made . Albeit I have not driven the RCF it seems that this more affordable “comparable” car did not live up to it’s expectations.

  2. This car is one of the many reasons why I love Lexus. I have admired Lexus for the last 3 years or so. I think when they made the decision to make the design of their cars more modern, thats when they changed from being a really nice drive to the all round package.

    1. Hi Aurelien,
Thank you for contacting us. The Lexus LFA is rarely offered for sale, given its very limited production run of just 500 units. Our recommendation is that if you do spot one for sale – which will be most likely at a specialist car retailer – act quickly. Similar to all our others cars we would also recommend getting it serviced by experts. Please find an article about this: http://blog.lexus.co.uk/how-to-service-a-lexus-lfa. Best of luck.
