Merry Christmas from the Lexus blog team

Dear readers,

We would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Since we launched the Lexus blog in August of this year, we’ve shared the latest news from Lexus in the UK, from behind-the-scenes updates on the all-new CT 200h to stories about the Lexus Great British Bike Ride, Salon Privé and the stunning display at Harrods.

For us, the build-up to the UK launch of CT 200h has definitely been the highlight – and we can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the car when it goes on sale next year.

With that in mind, we eagerly anticipate an exciting start to 2011, including the official announcement of a two new special editions. More on that in January.

Until then, we will be running a reduced service on the Lexus blog from today, 24 December 2010 to 3 January 2011 (inclusive). Please feel free to leave us general comments, however any specific queries should be directed here (Christmas opening hours will apply).

Merry Christmas!

  1. Yes I saw it. Previously had a rx400h and a rx450h.
Hopefully the production moodels will have better steering than the first road test I read. Disappointed to see that you still cant find preselect audio stations without using the joystick and takingyour eyes off the road- as the 450h I had – dangerous?
How can I get an early road test and if I like it, an early delivery?

    1. Hi James

Thank you for your feedback about the use of the Remote Touch system. We will feed that back to our engineers who value customer feedback as we strive for continuous improvement of our products.

With regards to the CT 200h, cars will be arriving in showrooms in March and will be available to test drive then.

      Thanks.

  2. We ordered a ct 200, and paid deposit in October, when we were told delivery would be January 2011.
To date we have no further information.

When can we expect our new car?

    1. Hi David.

Cars are expected to arrive in March, but if you contact the Lexus Centre you placed your deposit with they will be able to give you a better idea of when your car will arrive.

      Thanks.
