  1. I notice that the rear corner picture of the RC300h clearly shows exposed stainless exhaust tips. are Lexus going to do this on all future hybrids. I hope so because that is my only disappointment on the looks of my IS300h F Sport. I could never accept the explanation given to me that hiding the exhaust pipe improves the appeal of hybrid. It’s the same with the NX300h F Sport, the 200t looks much better from the rear.

      Thanks for your post and an interesting question.
      It is true that we do hide the exhaust pipes on our hybrid models (NX and IS for example) however they will be visible in models such as the RC and NX 200t. This is basically down to the type of vehicle and what we feel is appropriate but we do take on board your comments regarding looks. Being honest we do not have any current plans to change this in our range but the details have been passed to the product team. They can take this on board for when we next review the specification on the IS.
      Sorry this is not the ideal answer but we do appreciate you taking the time to bring this matter to our attention.
