Lexus GS has been described by the motoring press as a “Handsome, well proportioned saloon” with “Stunning interior build quality”. Now retail buyers can drive one for as little as £389* when putting down a deposit of £8,327.96.

Retail buyers looking to make the £389 p/m payments could put down a deposit of £8,327.96 on a Lexus GS 300h SE, and then make 41 monthly payments of £389 p/m, and take advantage of a low APR of 5.9%. For a limited time, a £1,000 deposit contribution is being offered on the model too.

What’s it got?

Buyers won’t be left wanting for equipment, as SE models come with luxuries such as cruise control, dual zone climate control and electric front seats. GS 300h SE further benefits from a plethora of on-board technology, including an 8-inch multimedia screen, comprising DAB and bluetooth and a rear-view camera with guide monitor. A 12-speaker audio system with DVD and RDS also features. Visually, the car scores style points with 17-inch alloy wheels and xenon headlights with integrated daytime running lights.

What does it cost to run?

Another major advantage of GS 300h over its rivals, are the low running costs. CO2 emissions for SE models of 109g/km mean that annual vehicle tax costs just £20, and combined mpg figures of 60.1 mpg mean big savings at the pumps, and a theoretical tank rank of 870 miles.

  1. The GS300h looks a very attractive package. Can I ask a couple of questions? First, the Lexus US website shows the GS in a great colour called Fire Agate Pearl. Is there any reason why this can’t be made available in the UK, since presumably the cars are made on the same line? Second, can the 17″ wheels from the SE be made available as a no-cost option on the Luxury model, to keep the car in the sub-110g/km VED band, and to optimise ride quality?

      Thanks for your post and for your interest in the GS 300h.
      Firstly, to answer your point about colour, unfortunately this is not currently available on the GS in our market. The reason is because we did originally launch this colour when we started selling the CT range however we ended up discontinuing this due to low sales. Turning to the wheels, because the SE grade has a lighter chassis when compared to the luxury, it means that just by changing the alloys wheels (we could arrange for this to be done) it would not reduce the emissions from the Luxury grade. You would need to purchase the SE grade to achieve these emissions. We are sorry about the disappointing replies here in light of your requests and hope that this does help clarify.
