Dynamic or relaxing – how would you like your next car to feel when you go out for a drive? Luckily, with the new CT 200h, you will be able to experience both.
Lexus is equipping its all-new compact hatchback with the latest generation Lexus Hybrid Drive as standard, giving the smoothness, refinement and high efficiency of full hybrid technology. However, drivers will also benefit from two distinct moods – Dynamic or Relaxing – which CT 200h adopts to suit the driver.
So how does it work? The driver can select EV (electric vehicle), ECO and NORMAL drive modes at the touch of a button. These modes place the emphasis on fuel efficiency, ride comfort, smooth acceleration and low noise levels in the cabin for a relaxing drive.
Those looking to make the most of dynamic driving position and innovative chassis technology can select SPORT mode. This increases power delivery from the electric motor, sharpens throttle response and adjusts the Electric Power Steering (EPS) to maximise performance and agility.
Even the look of the CT 200h’s instrument panel changes to reflect the move to more dynamic performance: the hybrid power meter is replaced by a tachometer and the instrument backlighting shifts from hybrid blue to red.
